چکیده

Let ξ be an analytic vector field in R3 with isolated singularity at the origin and having only hyperbolic singular points after a reduction of singularities π:M→R3. The union images by π local invariant manifolds those points, denoted Λ, is composed trajectories accumulating to 0∈R3. Assuming that there are no cycles nor polycycles on divisor π, together Morse-Smale type property non-resonance condition eigenvalues these this paper we prove existence fundamental system {Vn} neighborhoods well adapted for description dynamics ξ: frontier Fr(Vn) everywhere tangent except around Fr(Vn)∩Λ, where transversality mandatory.

Fitting Parameterized Three-Dimensional Models to Images

Model-based recognition and motion tracking depends upon the ability to solve for projection and model parameters that will best fit a 3-D model to matching 2-D image features. This paper extends current methods of parameter solving to handle objects with arbitrary curved surfaces and with any number of internal parameters representing articulations, variable dimensions, or surface deformations...

Three-dimensional characteristic approach for incompressible thermo-flows and influence of artificial compressibility parameter

In this paper the characteristics of unsteady three-dimensional incompressible flows with heat transfer are obtained along with artificial compressibility of Chorin. At first, compatibility equations and pseudo characteristics for three-dimensional flows are derived from five governing equations (continuity equation, Momentum equations in three directions, and energy equation) and then results ...

Three-dimensional Modelling of Industrial Granular Flows

The Discrete Element Method (DEM) is attracting increasing interest for the simulation of industrial granular flows. While the majority of previous DEM modelling has considered two-dimensional flows, we present here a series of three-dimensional simulations for a number of important industrial applications. The charge motion in a 5 m diameter ball mill and in a Hicom nutating mill, discharge fr...

Parallel Solutions of Three-Dimensional Compressible Flows

In this report, we present parallel solutions of realistic three-dimensional ows obtained on the Intel Paragon, the Cray T3D and the Ibm SP2 MPPs (Massively Parallel Processors). The solver under consideration is a representative subset of an existing industrial code, N3S-MUSCL (a three-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes solver, see Chargyy3]). It implements a mixed nite element//nite volum...

Delaunay Mesh Generation of Three Dimensional Domains

Delaunay meshes are used in various applications such as finite element analysis, computer graphics rendering, geometric modeling, and shape analysis. As the applications vary, so do the domains to be meshed. Although meshing of geometric domains with Delaunay simplices have been around for a while, provable techniques to mesh various types of three dimensional domains have been developed only ...
